Physics PHY121F (Principles of Physics) is the calculus based first-year first semester half course for science students who intend to proceed to higher physics courses. It is also suitable for mathematicians, astronomers, chemists, computer scientists and geologists. It consists of 60 lectures (covering mechanics and thermal physics), 6 laboratory sessions, and 4 tutorials. The course co-ordinator is Professor Craig Comrie Room 306, RW James Building. Lectures take place at 10.00 am, in Lecture Room B, RW James (Physics) Building, University Avenue.
