  • new The course marks spreadsheet 2012 shows the results (out of 75) of class test1. Scripts should be availabe in the pigeonholes outside PHYLAB2 at 11h50. The department policy is not to provide solutions to class tests. If you have queries, place the script, with a note indicating the issue being queried in an envelope, and put it in the pigeonhole of Professor Aschman before 16h00 on 25 April.

Physics PHY2014F (Waves and Electromagnetism) is a second-year half course for science students, at an intermediate level. It covers first vibrations and waves, and then electromagnetism up to Maxwell's equations and their wave-like solution in vacuum. It is an introduction to mathematical physics. It is suitable for mathematicians, applied mathematicians, astronomers, chemists, computer scientists and geologists. It consists of 60 lectures, 12 laboratory sessions, and about 12 problem sets.

Lectures take place at 11.00 am, in Lecture Room C, RW James (Physics) Building, University Avenue, five days a week (M T W Th F) in the first semester.
