Masses

The proton mass is tex2html_wrap_inline1367 kg, again a pretty meaningless number. Masses will generally be given in terms of the invariant mass, tex2html_wrap_inline1369 . Masses of the proton and neutron are about 1000 MeV tex2html_wrap_inline1371 and the mass of the electron is about 0.5 MeV tex2html_wrap_inline1371 . Often the mass will be given as `1000 MeV', with the tex2html_wrap_inline1375 implied.
